As in every profession, there are a few exceptional people who are the ones you want to seek out...
I chose to train in Optometry because of the field of Vision Therapy (VT) which works with natural methods to rehabilitate and enhance visual, cognitive, and motor functions of the eye, brain, and body.
I personally benefited from VT during the summer after 2nd grade, when I was a C student. Ever since then, I was a straight A student with an IQ that measured over 186...
My first job in High School was working as a Vision Therapist in my father's office... He was a fellow in COVD and the Academy, as well as the President of OEP, after the passing of its founder, A.M. Skeffington.
My interests in vision enhancement and rehabilitation got channeled into prevention and reversal of blinding eye diseases when I was diagnosed with Glaucoma at age 25, when I was serving as President of the international student eye doctors' association (AOSA). I learned that if I followed the standard one-size-fits-all protocols of the medical/surgical standard of care, I would expect to be blind in my 40s. That led me to all of the discoveries that now make up my Clinical Theory™ and Clinical Praxis™ as the foundation for Accelerated Self Healing™ and the reversal of one year of aging and degeneration in one month of the full program.

Developmental Vision Therapy:
